Safal Committee is a Nepali Workers’ Street Committee

Introduction | 09/09/2025

The massacre on the 8 September was Class Struggle. The Working Class has been openly attacked by the State. The first shot declaring a Class War and the Working Class must now defend itself. We have therefore declared a Safal Committee to organize its defense.

Our Demands

  1. Immediate arrest of the Government as Public Enemies.
  2. A People’s Tribunal against all Public Enemies.
  3. Disarming of the State: Police, APF and the Army.
  4. Expropriation of all Enemy Property and Citizenship.
  5. General Arming of the Masses for its Defence.
  6. Dissolution of Parliament by an Elected Workers’ Assembly.
  7. General Strikes & Demonstration for the defense of the Working Class

Revolutionary Salut! | 09/09/2025

The massacres of 8th September which heroically ousted the Government, has now spawned a Reactionary Force. This sole precious victory of the Masses is now being stolen under them. The Safal committee condemns this Unholy Alliance of Armed Force, Monarchists and Democrats:

We are determined to fight the Forces of Reaction across this country and move to empower a ‘True Workers’ Democracy: To this end, the Safal Committee calls for the:

  1. Immediate surrender of the Class Enemy – KP Oli to a People’s Court.
  2. Immediate end to Violent Rule.
  3. Imprisonment of all Freed Public Enemies and their Criminal Helpers under People’s Custody.
  4. Masses to form Defense Committees against this still present danger of Armed Attack.
  5. Old Parliamentary system; utterly impotent and corrupt, to be swept aside. We call upon the Workers to elect a new People’s Assembly to take command of this bloody Class Struggle.

Against the Present State of Things! | 10/09/2025

The present Martial Law enacted by the Army is not a Danger to all. It is dangerous to the Working Class. It was their Children, still wearing their school uniforms, that were leading the Crowds on September 8. And when the People set out to avenge the Martyrs on the 9, who rescued the Corrupt from People’s Anger?

Even as we are writing this, the Democrats who are always so keen on Law and Order, are working with the very Police, APF and Army that shot down that Order. whilst freed Criminal Bandits are working as Instigators for Armed Rule. The Protest against Corruption carried by the People, has handed its very Control back to the same Corrupt Class.

We as a Committee continue to call for:

  1. Immediate dissolution of Armed Rule.
  2. Denounce any attempts to send Representatives to negotiate with the Armed State.
  3. The Police, APF and Army to give up KP Oli, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prachanda and other Leaders-in-hiding to a People’s Court!
  4. All independent Communists and Allies to create a Workers’ Front.
  5. Establishment of a People’s Assembly to Democratically decide

We disdain to conceal our Views! | 13/09/2025

  1. We are a group of independent Marxists who have long rejected all the Parties, for being Communist in name only.
  2. We remain first and foremost a Street Committee, which was formed to organize the Defense of the Working Class.
  3. We were born out of necessity, as the Communist Parties abandoned the Working Class, when it needed leadership the most.
  4. Our task now is to split the Working Class from the Democratic Parties of the Middle Class. To prevent the reproduction of Bourgeois Democracy.
  5. We are still organizing and call on all like-minded Communists and allies to form Committees of their own and join us in a Worker’s Front.
